• Measures the pressed ridges of tolerance ring strips using a matched pair of 2D laser distance measuring heads.
• Measures 800 points across a scan width of 40mm to a height resolution of 2 microns
• Controlled by LabVIEW running on a PC to build up a 3D model of the strip.
• Height, pitch and width profile of each ridge along the test piece length measured.
• The machine can measure strips with 1, 2 or 3 ridges across the width of strips up to 35mm wide.
